I’m a geek and proud of it.

Tell me about your life before you joined Ignus.
Always seemed to have a knack for fixing things. Of all the things I could get involved with, I find computers to be the most interesting.

Coordinate marketing/pre-sales efforts, vendor relationship management.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Sports (golf, skiing/snowboarding, biking, & running), video games (currently playing The Orange Box, Super Mario Galaxy, and Halo 3 – bring it!), collecting Star Wars stuff and spending time with the family.

Um, well… they haven’t met me yet so I guess they’d have to ask if they wanted to know.

Follow sports, hunt, play Xbox 360. I’m a huge Cincinnati Bengals fan.

Married to wife Jackie for 2 years. She’s a teacher at Kennedy Elementary. She also teaches Children’s Music Academy. We are expecting a dog this summer.

Name one person you would like to meet and why.
Chad Johnson (aka “Ocho Cinco”) who is the star receiver for the Bengals. Because there’s nobody on this planet that enjoys their job more than he does.

What would you like people to know about you when they first meet you?
I embrace the years of being in grade school. Because everyone had no cares back then. The extent of my thought process back then was who you were going to play with after school and what you were going to play. No money issues, no responsibility, nothing.

Personal Comments
I’ve been involved with computers ever since teaching myself to program back in the days of the Apple II computer. In the 25+ years since that time I’ve enjoyed the evolution of computers and adopting new technologies like C++, email, TCP/IP, SQL, HTML, Java, C#, SharePoint, CRM, and AJAX. I’m passionate about new technology, automating systems, and using technology to make business more efficient.

Bill Gates, He’s been amazingly successful in the computer industry and I could learn from him

What would you like people to know about you when they first meet you?
I was born and raised in Norway. I didn’t actually move to the US until I was 18 years old. Obviously I speak fluent Norwegian

If you want to learn Norwegian, stop by our office and I’ll teach you a few words. You never know when it’ll come in handy

I am responsible for client design work/concept development and ideation. I also work on internal marketing.

I enjoy cooking, trying new foods and wine. I’ve been known to grill a mean Asian pork loin.

My wife Amy. Married for 6 years.

I have three goofy cats; Nimbus, Moka and Luna.

What do you primarily do at Ignus?
I’m the first point of contact for clients with computer and network support issues. I’m also the primary provider of remote computer support. I do some in-house service as well. And I also just added support duties for our surveillance clients.

What do you do in your sparetime?
Ride my Harley. I’m remodeling my house so that takes quite a bit of time

Willy G. Davidson. He’s the co-founder of Harley Davidson, a pioneer of motorcycles and he’s one of the reasons that motorcycles are around today.

What would you like people to know about you when they first meet you?
I�m really friendly and easy to talk to.
