Off-Site Hosted Storage

The customer only needs IP network cameras and a broadband connection to the Internet. The video is transported over the Internet and is recorded to the byRemote servers in Fargo, North Dakota. This solution offers added security by safely storing the digital video out of harm’s way from fire or smoke damage, water damage, theft, vandalism or deceit. Customers may access their live or recorded video at any time by logging onto our Member Login area with an authorized username and password.

Central Storage

The customer purchases a video storage PC with the byRemote Surveillance Center web-based camera management software installed on it. The storage PC can be placed at one central location, typically the main office, with the video from all of the locations stored on this PC. With this solution, businesses with multiple locations or network shared storage can take advantage of having one system to maintain the video from any cameras connected to the Internet or WAN (wide area network).

Dedicated Storage

This solution is ideal for a business with one location or a business that may not have access to high-speed Internet or Internet access may not be affordable. The customer purchases a video storage PC with the byRemote Surveillance Center web-based camera management software installed on it. With the storage PC installed at the location, the video is recorded over LAN (local area network). If broadband ever does become available, or affordable, the byRemote digital surveillance system is ready for the remote viewing of live and recorded video.

Managed Storage

The Managed Storage Solution is another industry first for byRemote. Following the success of the Off-Site Hosted Storage Solution with its management features, we have added the option of remote maintenance, monitoring and management for our Dedicated and Central Hosted Storage solutions. We call this our Managed Storage solution and it ensures that the byRemote network video surveillance system that you purchase is functioning at its top performance.
